The popularity of the EARTH Award continues to thrive with award presentations in two categories... New Building and Existing Building. These separate categories reflect the different evaluation criteria for both types of buildings.
By winning an EARTH Award, your company will receive industry-wide recognition at the local BC level of competition for your environmentally conscious building. Winners will have an opportunity to compete nationally at BOMEX this fall.

The EARTH Award creates new marketing opportunities to prospective and existing tenants. Highlighting your company's efforts in areas such as energy management, indoor air quality, recycling, tenant awareness programs and health and safety issues will give tenants a new insight to the exceptional standards and professionalism of your firm.
Eligibility...
1. Entrants must be BOMA BC members.
2. Buildings must be located in British Columbia.
3. There are no limitations to the number of buildings a property management firm or owner may enter.
4. All buildings are eligible to compete, ie: office, educational, institutional, industrial, medical, corporate facility, etc.
5. Entries are to be submitted on a self-nominating basis.
Important Reminder...
It is important to note the distinction between a new building and an existing building. If your company obtained the occupancy permit within 2 years of the entry deadline, please submit your building entry in the New Building category. If your company obtained the occupancy permit 2 years or longer prior to entry deadline, please submit your building entry in the Existing Building category.
To Enter...
Please go to the online Entry Form. A registration fee of $200 per entry is required. Deadline for submissions... March 11th, 2010.
Please provide between six to ten colour photos. Burn photos onto a CD or email them one at a time to sjones@boma.bc.ca. Two exterior shots, three interior shots (ie: common areas, typical hallway, mechanical room) and one group shot of staff are the minimum picture requirements. The remaining photos are of your choice and can be related to tenant events or community impact. A full colour company logo is also required.
Digital photo specifications... JPEG files only, RGB preferred, saved as highest quality. Minimum size accepted is 2000 x 1500 pixels at 72 pixels per inch or 480 x 360 pixels at 300 pixels per inch. Each image size should be no more than 4 megabytes.

Existing Building: occupancy permit obtained two years or longer of entry deadline.
