Emergency Preparedness

Welcome to the BOMA BC Emergency Preparedness Centre. Information posted on this section of the web site comes from various sources as examples only of how to prepare for and manage security and emergency issues affecting commercial real estate. BOMA BC is a member of Emergency Preparedness for Industry & Commerce Council (EPICC) www.epicc.org and is represented on the steering committee of Vancouver Operation Co-operation. BOMA BC also has a seat on the Infrastructure Security Integrated Intelligence Scheme (ISIIS) which is part of the Greater Vancouver Regional District's emergency planning.

BOMA BC has created an Emergency Preparedness Committee with the objectives to:
  1. assist the commercial real estate industry in preparing for and responding to emergencies (earthquake; terrorist activities; chemical/biological threats)
  2. to network and co-ordinate with local, regional and provincial emergency response resources
  3. to communicate with our membership through this web site.
