BOMA BESt

BOMA BESt is a national program launched in 2005 by BOMA Canada to address an industry need for realistic standards for energy and environmental performance of existing buildings based on accurate, independently verified information.

The BOMA BESt program includes an array of educational and on-line assessment tools; independent data audits; and a four-level performance certification program.

Commercial building complexes that are BOMA BESt certified will have a distinct advantage when it comes to attracting and retaining tenants, while improving business productivity for occupants. In most cases, it also costs less to operate and maintain the buildings.

For more information about BOMA BESt and how it can enhance the "green value" of your building and facility contact Lorina Keery, Energy & Environmental Manager at the BOMA BC office.
