Tenant Improvement of the Year
Introduced in 2005, this award recognizes the best tenant
improvement project for a commercial building. The award
encompasses planning, design quality, cost effectiveness, use of
base building elements, creativity, functionality, tenant/landlord
satisfaction and adaptability for future tenant use.
In order to be eligible for the Tenant Improvement of the Year
award:
- This is a self-nominated award that all architectural and
design companies, or a landlord, may enter.
- The project must have occurred in a BOMA member building.
- The project must have been completed in the year 2010.
- The project may be either for a new tenancy or renovation of an
existing tenancy. In the case of renovation, it should be
significant involving re-planning to achieve functional
improvements to the space rather than simply a cosmetic
upgrade.
