  • Benefit plan improvements (often at the same cost as your current plan).
  • Benchmark you current plan. If you have not done this in a few years it may be time.

  • Innovation. The BOMA BC program has made every effort to make sure that the benefit program reflects the most current innovations in employee benefits. For example, pay direct drug and dental, Employee assistance, wellness, and optional critical event coverage.

How would this program compare to our current employee benefit program?

In most cases, we are able to offer very competitive rates and can design a plan that is as good or better than your current plan. If your current plan is superior - we will let you know. We can test your plan against what we can offer. You are under no obligation to change you current plan by asking us for a consultation.

Our company has never had an employee benefits/group benefits plan what would we need to know?

If you have been in business for a couple of years and have grown beyond the one or two employee stage you will want to consider benefits. Employee benefits can form part of the total compensation a company pays its employees. They are an integral component of any company's attraction and retention strategy. When properly communicated and understood, most employee surveys indicate that people want benefits. Why? Benefits are a more tax efficient way to deliver compensation to employees for services and protection they are already using, want, or need.

How much does the program cost? Can you send me a rate sheet?

If you already have a group insurance plan then you have an idea of the cost. The key is can you get more value for your benefit dollars? If you have never had a group benefit plan we can help you build one that can suit your budget and goals.

As a general guide, most benefit programs cost between 2-3% of payroll (typically this is a 50/50 cost sharing arrangement between employer/employees). We can discuss your needs and help determine what a plan would cost your company. Group insurance is priced on the basis of blend of macro level characteristics (industry, region, carrier pricing models) and of your groups specific demographic characteristics. For this reason, in order to estimate the cost of a benefit plan, we require information specific to your company and employees.

Can I get information on other insurance and financial products and services?

Absolutely. While Dehoney Financial Group's core business is employee benefit programs we are a full service financial and insurance firm. We offer a wide range of services available to serve our clients.
