City of Vancouver makes changes to permitting process to support commercial buildings

On October 14th, 2021, BOMA BC attended a public hearing on permitting and licensing procedures for commercial renovations. On behalf of our Board of Directors, BOMA Director of Government Affairs and Communications, Muneesh Sharma, presented to Vancouver City Council in support of several proposed amendments to the commercial building permitting process. We are happy to announce that the city has voted in favour of our recommended changes to the building code.
