Role Description:
Based in Vancouver, the Banking Administrator will report to the Manager, Banking Administration to provide administrative support to Finance and Property Administration teams relating to daily, monthly and annual Banking and Cash Management activities to ensure accuracy of financial information. This is an important role and will allow QuadReal to increase its value by providing more responsive and accurate service to the teams we support.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations for assigned accounts
- Process the Setup, Update or Cancellation of Tenant EFTs/PADs and Vendor PADs from the Property Administration team
- Action Positive Pay exceptions for CIBC and RBC accounts as required
- Complete assigned ad-hoc tasks received in Shared Team outlook account
- Prepare Bank Deposits as required
- Update Daily Tenant EFT and Vendor PAP listings
- Prepare journal entries when required
- Communicate and follow up with Finance and Property Administration teams of unposted transactions on the bank reconciliation
- Process assigned Account Transfers and Wire Payments on various Online Banking Platforms
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months post secondary education
- Must possess an aptitude for numbers
- Previous experience completing Bank Reconciliations
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems such as YARDI Voyager is considered an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written; ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships with internal departments; team player
- Ability to allocate time effectively, work under pressure to meet deadlines; handle multiple demands and competing priorities; prioritize workload; work at a detailed level and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment that includes new ideas and change
- Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems; ability to take decisive action within authorized limits
The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $55,000 – $60,000 prorated for the duration of the contract.
The actual salary offered will take into consideration a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the individual’s skill, experience, education and training, the market compensation of the role, and the consideration to internal equity.
