Programs & Tools

BOMA BC is committed to advancing sustainability in the commercial real-estate industry by providing tools an resources to improve performance while reducing costs and carbon impact in commercial buildings. This section of the website is dedicated to the programs, services and education available through BOMA BC.

Our newly launched Decarb Accelerator Program provides hands-on assistance for identifying and reducing GHG emissions and overall building efficiencies – ALL at no cost to the building!

Every building participating in the program will receive a dedicated Decarb Program Manager/Engineer who will work one-on-one with your team to assess and determine what unique support or resources your property and team might need to reduce your energy and carbon emissions.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for BOMA to support buildings meaningfully and profoundly through funding from the Federal Government and in partnership with the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre (ZEIC).

BOMA BEST® is an international green building certification program launched by BOMA Canada in 2005 to address an industry need for realistic standards for energy and environmental performance of existing buildings based on accurate, independently verified information.

Commercial buildings that are BOMA BEST® certified have a distinct advantage when it comes to attracting and retaining tenants. In most cases, it also costs less to operate and maintain the buildings due to increase in overall building efficiency.
