BOMA BC takes pride in organizing a variety of events throughout the year. However, six events have become the tradition of BOMA:
Ski Trip, Boat Cruise, Awards Gala, Golf Classic, Fall-Tee Off, and Christmas Luncheon.
These signature events attract the highest attendance and enthusiasm from our members. They reflect the true essence of BOMA's community spirit.
BOMA Ski Trip
Every March, BOMA BC’s Annual Ski Trip takes you to the stunning slopes of Whistler for a day of skiing, relaxation, and networking. Enjoy a scenic shuttle ride to Whistler, followed by skiing or a trip to the spa. Afterward, unwind with refreshments at the Longhorn Saloon before gathering for a family-style feast at Caramba.
Stay overnight and join us for breakfast the next morning before heading back to Vancouver. This event is the perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and valuable connections in one of BC’s most beautiful settings.
BOMA Awards Gala
BOMA BC’s Awards Gala is an annual event that celebrates the best in British Columbia’s commercial real estate industry. This gala honors achievements in leadership, innovation, sustainability, operational excellence, and outstanding tenant service.
Winners in select categories often advance to compete at BOMA Canada's National Awards Gala, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication found across the country. The Awards Gala highlights the vital role BOMA BC members play in setting industry standards and fostering an environment of excellence and collaboration.
BOMA Boat Cruise
BOMA BC's Boat Cruise is a summertime favorite, offering nearly 300 members a chance to unwind on the water and enjoy a fun, themed getaway.
With delicious drinks, finger foods, and lively activities like dance competitions and costume contests, this annual cruise is the perfect way to mingle with colleagues while soaking in the beauty of Vancouver’s harbor.
Our 2025 Boat Cruise was superhero-themed and, fittingly, presented by Grime Fighters Service Group Ltd.
BOMA Golf Classic
The BOMA Golf Classic is BOMA BC’s highly anticipated annual golf tournament, drawing 288 golfers each year for a full day of fun and networking at the beautiful Northview Golf and Country Club. Participants enjoy a BBQ lunch before hitting the course, followed by a delicious steak dinner and a lively awards ceremony to celebrate the day.
This event is always a sell-out and a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow members in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
BOMA Fall Tee-Off
Thanks to the popularity of our annual Golf Classic, we decided to double the fun this year with a brand-new event, the BOMA Fall Tee-Off.
Over 100 members hit the fairways at the picturesque Squamish Valley Golf Club, a course that perfectly captures West Coast casual. Between the laughs BBQ lunch and dinner, exciting prize giveaways, and postcard-worthy mountain views, it was the kind of day that reminded us why golf season is so special.
Our first Fall Tee-Off was a hole-in-one, and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year.
BOMA Christmas Luncheon
BOMA BC's Christmas Luncheon is a cherished annual tradition, bringing close to 900 members together to celebrate the holiday season in style. Known for its festive atmosphere, this event features creative themes, delicious food, and exciting prize giveaways.
Thanks to the hard work of the Christmas Committee, dedicated volunteers, and the support of generous sponsors, this Luncheon is always a highlight of the year, offering a wonderful opportunity for members to connect and celebrate in a joyful setting.
