The Senior Corporate Reporting Analyst supports strategic decision-making by overseeing consolidated financial reporting and delivering clear management reporting, analysis, and financial planning and modeling. The role works with various stakeholders across the business to interpret results, resolve reporting and accounting issues in accordance with Canadian GAAP, and improve reporting processes, systems, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financials for a complex corporate group of entities, including review for accuracy and completeness and well-supported working papers.
  • Apply strong knowledge of accounting processes, transactions, and Canadian GAAP to review financials, recommend solutions, and resolve issues with department leaders and partners.
  • Deliver management reporting and performance analysis against budget, forecast, and historical results, highlighting key trends and variances.
  • Manage quarterly management reporting timelines and deliverables.
  • Support and contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including maintaining clear and accurate forecast updates and financial summaries.
  • Support the preparation of Board and Investor packages, presentations, and reports.
  • Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and executive-level ad hoc requests.
  • Participate in testing, implementation, and continuous improvement of financial systems and reporting processes, including driving automation of core FP&A workflows.

What You Bring

  • Professional accounting designation required: CPA, CA, CGA, or CMA.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with Commerce or Business preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with strong financial modelling capability.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly and build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and tact when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience with Yardi, particularly Yardi Voyageur, is an asset.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 per year based on experience.
