Join us for an insightful presentation from Terri Healy, Manager of Community Education, with the City of Victoria’s Community Safety and Bylaw Services Department and Jason Adair, Manager of Civic Services with the City’s Engineering and Public Works department. Public disorder and related issues are a prime concern for property owners and managers in urban centers. Terri and Jason will discuss how the work of Community Safety and Bylaw Services and Public Works Departments helps support a clean, safe and vibrant downtown. They will also review the services that are available to support property managers and owners and the work of our community partners.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn about what the Community Safety and Bylaw Services Department does and how their work supports property managers and owners.
- Learn how the Public Works Department helps keep public spaces clean and livable.
- Learn how to respond and report public space concerns, garbage, trespassing and more.
- Learn about innovative City programs such as Feet on the Street and Security Assessments.
