Building Operators Tour

Meet at the BOMA BC office: Suite 2200 – 555 W. Hastings St. Vancouver at 12:30pm to board our private bus. From there, we will venture out to tour three buildings:

   · 750 W. Broadway – to view their new variable refrigerant       flow (VRF) system in action
   · 939 Beatty St. – to view their new dual-fuel RTUs in operations
   · 555 Robson St. – to view their new heat recovery chiller (HRC) in action

Description:

Every building retrofit is unique, and they often come with hiccups along the way. This ‘show and tell’ day will give Building Operators the chance to see these systems in operation and hear from the building teams and engineers:

   · What are the benefits of these new systems?
   · What obstacles they had to overcome in installation and commissioning?
   · How they are ensuring that they are deriving the modelled energy savings?

4:00 PM - 5:30 PM:  Social time (burgers and beers at Fable Bar & Grill)

Price:

Members: $40 + GST (includes all transportation, guided tours of each building’s systems, presentation, and beers, burgers and other pub-grub)

*This event is open to BOMA-Member Building Operators only. Space is limited to the first 25 registrants.
