Strong capital planning starts with understanding what a building needs and knowing how to turn those needs into projects that get approved and successfully delivered. Operators bring firsthand knowledge of building systems and lifecycle requirements, while property managers connect those insights to budgets, ownership priorities, tenant expectations and long-term asset performance.

This practical session will explore how property managers and building operators can work together throughout the capital planning and project execution process. From identifying and prioritizing needs to developing a business case, tendering, contractor recommendations and project delivery, attendees will gain practical strategies they can apply to their own buildings.

Learn how to translate operational knowledge into well-supported recommendations, communicate effectively with owners and decision-makers, and demonstrate the value of capital investments through measurable results.
