With major events like the World Cup bringing unprecedented crowds to Downtown Vancouver, building operations teams must be prepared for increased pressure on access, safety, and cleanliness. This session will explore what to expect during high-volume events, from crowd behaviour patterns to operational challenges at key entry points.

Join BOMA and Kandor Management Corp. to learn practical strategies to manage congestion, enhance security, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a seamless experience for tenants and visitors. We’ll cover best practices for entry point management, lobby flow, waste response, communication protocols, incident escalation and risk mitigation, along with the importance of aligning security, cleaning, and maintenance teams for a coordinated response during large-scale events.
