Description:

Great buildings aren’t just visually striking—they’re designed to operate efficiently. Yet too often, design decisions create long-term challenges for property teams, whether in new construction or tenant improvements. From inaccessible mechanical systems to finishes that don’t withstand real-world use, small oversights can lead to big inefficiencies and higher costs.

In this session, we’ll highlight real-world examples of design missteps that impact building performance—and, importantly, how to avoid them. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to apply during design reviews, renovations, and tenant fit-outs, helping protect operational excellence, tenant satisfaction, and long-term asset value.
