Across Vancouver, Building owners and asset managers are facing increasingly complex decisions about aging properties. Changing market conditions, rising capital requirements, evolving building regulations, tenant expectations, and the physical condition of an asset can all influence whether the right strategy is to maintain, renew, reposition, redevelop, or consider other options.
Making that decision requires looking beyond an individual repair or capital project and understanding the building as a whole - its current performance, long-term objectives, technical condition, regulatory requirements, and the investment needed to support its future.
