BOMEX 2024: Recap

How do you sum up 3 days of BOMEX? Does "a hurricane of activity" capture it?

Since 2018, after years of planning (and a certain global delay), we finally brought Canada’s commercial real estate community to Vancouver for an unforgettable event.

With the theme 'Meet. Educate. Celebrate.', BOMEX 2024 delivered on all fronts. The conference showcased phenomenal receptions, education sessions covering everything from workplace inclusivity to tech innovations, and an evening of awards celebrating the best in the business. The variety of activities truly offered something for everyone, but the real magic came from the in-person networking. It was so good to laugh, share ideas, and connect with professionals from across Canada and beyond.

Special highlights included keynote speakers Jody Wilson-Raybould and David Usher, who inspired us with stories of leadership and the future of AI. David even treated us to a few songs from his catalogue!

The event wrapped up with BOMA Canada’s National Awards Gala, celebrating excellence, honouring career milestones, and recognizing the leaders of tomorrow. View the 2024 National Award Winners here
