Security Team Award
This award recognizes teamwork, initiative, and/or service toward safety and security for the Commercial Real Estate community and its stakeholders. The award will be presented to a security team who has significantly contributed to their organization and/or the Commercial Real Estate Industry and is open to teams where the security staff are contract, in house or a blend of the two.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the Security Team of the Year Award:
- The nominee must be an employee of a BOMA BC member in good standing.
- This is a self-nominated awards that any security team can apply for.
- A Security Team is defined as a group of two or more licensed front-line security professionals, typically led by a supervisor or manager.
- Both in-house security teams and contractors are welcome to apply.
- Security teams may be responsible for a single building or multiple.
How to Enter
Application fee: $400
Entry deadline: March 14, 2025
Photo/Image Requirements:
- Three to four colour photos (one group shot of the entire team, along with 'action shots' of the team at work.
- Company logo.
- Email them to Kiomi Lutz; or use a free image-sharing service (i.e. Dropbox) and email the link to the folder.
Photo specifications:
- JPEG files only, saved as highest quality
- Each photo should be no less than 1mb and no more than 6mb
* By submitting photos you consent to BOMA BC using the photos for various means potentially unrelated to the Awards Program (i.e. in the newsletter, marketing materials, on the website). If you do not give permission, please send an email to BOMA’s Director, Operations and Member Experience.
